Warranties
Most
of our vehicles include a 3 month / 4,500 mile limited power train
warranty. The warranties themselves are provided by third party organizations
who specialize in used vehicle warranties.
Here are the main
points of the standard warranty*:
- Your vehicle
is covered for 3 months from the purchase date or 4,500 miles, whichever
comes first.
- If a problem
occurs within the covered period, you may take your vehicle to any authorized
service center for maintenance, provided the service center first obtains
authorization for the repairs by the warranty provider.
- Components
covered by the warranty include:
- Engine:
timing chain & gears, timing belts, camshaft, valve train, cylinder
head, all internally lubricated parts, intake & exhaust manifolds
& engine block.
- Seals
& Gaskets: Cylinder head gasket and intake manifold gaskets.
All other seals and gaskets are covered only in connection with
a covered repair.
- Transmission:
Case, torque converter & housing, all internally lubricated
parts with the EXCLUSION of the following: Clutch, pressure
plate & throwout bearing, linkage, cables, shifter, electronic
switches, solenoids, & clutch slave cylinders.
- Drive
Axle: Drive axle housing and internal parts, universal joints,
ring & pinion gears, axles, drive shafts, CV joints provided
boots are not torn or damaged, (boots excluded). FOUR WHEEL DRIVE:
transfer case and internal parts. (Hubs & wheel bearings are
expressly excluded.)
- Expressly
not covered by the warranty are fluids, lubrication, and taxes.
- Labor
charges covered are based on industry accepted flat rates to replace
or repair components.
- A $100
deductable applies to each unrelated breakdown.
- Other
conditions apply as specified in the actual contract.
You may have the
option of purchasing additional warranty coverage if you so desire, which
can extend both the length of the warranty and covered service items.
